Each year, Hafiz’s commemoration ceremony will be held on October 20th at the site of his tomb in Shiraz with the participation of Iranian and foreign scholars. In Iran, this day is called the day of honoring Hafiz.

It is known that today in the home of every Iranian, a Hafez court is found. Iranians, according to their old traditions in the days of national or religious celebrations such as Nowruz on the table of Hundred Sin or Yalda Night, are buried with Hafiz’s book.
